The Geotab Africa Training Center it is where we train our customers, dealers and staff. Customers are trained on Geotab hardware and software which ensures they get the most out of our system and its features. In the same respect, our dealers are trained to have a great understanding on Geotab’s hardware and software, in order to be able to use and sell it. Dealers receive a certificate after completing training.
Furthermore, Geotab Africa is now accredited with MICT Seta. MICT Seta accreditation provides an accepted benchmark of knowledge and skills, ensuring specified levels of competency and ability in terms of industry standards. This provides our clients with an accredited certificate for which they can claim money paid for the course from their BEE. We are able to assist their SDF with the latter, in order to claim back course fees. This pertains to completing our accredited courses offered below:
Unit Standard 116936 – R 1050
This unit standard is intended for people who need to create and edit simple databases using a Graphical User Interface (GUI)-based database application, either as a user of computers or as basic knowledge for a career needing this competency, like the ICT industry.
Unit Standard 115391 – R 700
People accredited with this unit standard are able to explain the principles of the internet and the world-wide-web and explain how the world-wide-web incorporates the various internet applications.
MICT ETQA is the skills and development authority that ensures that skills development takes place within companies. When using an accredited training facility, a company is able to claim up to 60% of the initial fund outlay when doing your company’s financial year-end. Our training facility is available to rent and as an accredited training center, costs can be claimed back, as mentioned above.
