Geotab Africa Donates to Botshabelo on Mandela Day

Safeguarding children’s rights is of paramount importance to Geotab Africa. That’s why we continued to show our dedication on Mandela Day, 18 July 2019, by donating wet wipes, stationery and gifts to the abandoned and orphaned children in Botshabelo, Kyalami.

Botshabelo was founded in 2000 and is a multi-faceted charity passionate about transforming the life of underprivileged children by providing them with excellent residential care and education.  Currently, the organization has three initiatives to accomplish this vision. They are:

  • The Babies Home – providing a warm, caring, and loving home for abandoned children.
  • Urban Kids Educentre – A pre-school for disadvantaged and emerging families living in the Kyalami region.
  • UpliftED Training Programme – An initiative to empower educators and pre-schools from impoverished communities to provide better schooling.

Vishnu Perumalsamy, Managing Director of Geotab Africa, said:

“We take the rights of children very seriously and, through our participation in this initiative, we hope that we have made a positive contribution to the growth of children.”
